Why are you doing this?
I'm a big fan of sketch comedy. My favorite show growing up was the Dick Van Dyke Show. I wanted to be a sketch writer. I write sketches and I analize sketches. They are my art.

What makes you qualified?
I've been in a sketch comedy group for over 20 years. I've written over 100 sketches, some of them very good. I started with no experience and learned through doing. I know what worked for me by the audience laughing (or not).

Who are you?
Some anonymous sketch writer.

Don't you think XXXXX is talented?
I think most of the cast is great. I don't think they are given good material to work with. I think there are too many chefs in the kitchen. There's about 30 writers, a head writer, cast members, and Lorne Michaels. I think if there is good material being written, it does not get to air.

What about Weekend Update?
I think Weekend Update is generally really good. I think when they bring in a character it's hit or miss.

What about the commercials?
The commercials and shorts are almost always the best part of a show. I think trying to make something shorter helps. If you are not memorizing your lines then multple takes can hide it.
